The Mother of all Lists of Directory lists.

It means that I don't frequent in the same forums as minstrel, but every time I am referred to a thread by somebody I know... this time, it was this thread.

 

Since this thread is way off topic how does this Reputation thing work. I got a red for my post here saying nice list.

The person did not leave there name. I find it rather funny because even on the Internet they act like cowards. lol

I'm sure it was Minstrel but would really like to return the favor.

How does all that stuff work?

 

I do agree with what your saying, I think most nice sites come from people that spend a lot of time on forums. I've learned a lot from forums.

 

I would imagine you click the 'rate' link in the top-right corner of each post. I find it all quite unexciting however, as I have absolutely no interest in what anonymous users think of my posts.

 

I've gotta say I find it amusing that you guys have turned up out of the blue...

Let's not turn this thread from one argument to another.
I have seen enough out of controll slagging matches between you and Minstrel in the past to know that it is a waste of everyones time...

I agree 100%, I never start them and really hate it when the threads end up in a lot of fights.

I copped a red too, first one but I'm not about to return the favor as you put it, I think this reputation business childish and petty.

There is no way I would have it on my Forum.

 

Nice to see that Janeth and Mel have not lost their capacity for vindictiveness.

D-P members are of course free to take issue with me and my opinions. Janeth only pops in here once in a blue moon to see what trouble she can create -- in this case, she created a thread called Bash Minstrel elsewhere to bring in Mel, eleven80, and whoever else she can to back her up, typical of her rat pack mentality.

I left this thread quite some time ago. I expressed my opinion. Others disagreed. That's fine. Janeth is here stirring the pot, presumably because her forum is dead in the water and Phil's isn't far behind.

This post is simply to make D-P members aware of the motivation behind the posts by Janeth and Mel et al.. I will now leave the thread to them.

Not at all, your forum is a lot older then mine and you have what 200 members, I have close to 1,000 members and if you watch you will see the post count going up a lot everyday. I do not post much there but then do not need to because I have some really great members-

And what is the motivation for us to come here and post that we agree with the other members here?

 

The truth of the matter is I had planned to start doing some posting here, it had nothing to do with Minstrel, the fact that he was a member here is what has kept me away in the past. Not made me want to come here and post.

 

If only that were the case in all the threads you've decided to express your opinions, eh?

 

If its truly your intention to just contribute here then why not just ignore this thread and start posting. Many of us don't know the history between you three nor would we really care unless this thread turns into WWIII.

No need to stir the pot. Janeth, I gave you a green to show that anyone is welcome to post and will be appreciated but dragging out what seems to be much more deeply based then just a disagreement about Bob mutch's directory listings is already getting old.

You are correct, there are many reasons to post on forums and I should not let childish things keep from from doing that. I should also not return meanness with meanness.
