Just simply sharing a friend Alexa ranking is very important (although not as important as pagerank google) but alexa ranking has a considerable impact Many of our colleagues to minimize difficulties alexa ranking. But I felt it was not too difficult, then what do I do? Sure you're all asking In less than one week old blog alexa 2.000.000 now becomes 600.000 Efficacy of this I can think of Entrecard, sure you all already know what it is Entrecard.I registered my blog on Entrecard and install the toolbar "entrebar", every day I took an hour just using this toolbar, and the result is now my blog's Alexa ranking in the number 500.000 search on google with keywords and plug entecard toolbar "entrebar" hopefully help
No offense, but what are you talking about? Alexa is a rank of how many people are viewing your site. Pagerank is only known within the IM community. Give anyone here the choice between increasing PR or traffic and you might be the only one who says that PR is more important. The goal of PR and backlinks etc, is to get more traffic.
Alexa ranking is absolutely useless! I wouldn't put too much into pagerank either but it still has a few uses.
There are many benefits of higher Alexa Rank as; the Alexa Ranking scheme considers records of last three months when calculating the Rank of a particular website. By counting last three months' record and taking the average value, gives a more logical and realistic calculation of the density of traffic of websites.
What absolute nonsense. Alexa is not even remotely close to being accurate, so give no "realistic calculation" of traffic. Do you even know where they get there data from?
Alexa, don't really give the exact traffic details.. I have personal experience with my 2 blogs one with a more traffic than other still alexa ranking is nearly same for both.
I agree that Alexa has no bearing when it comes to actual site data, but I don't think I would agree its completely valueless. There is a pretty big contingency of business people who are clueless about ranking sites that use it to value sites for ad purchases and even site purchases. The problem with Alexa's data is it is gathered from people using their toolbar, so its not so much that its inaccurate, its just a very small sampling of data from a limited group of people. I mean who uses Alexa's toolbar?
