Hello, Everyone. Asking You as a real professionals in Internet Advertising and Marketing. I need some help, please, give an advice. The problem is- there's a site, that sells jewelry and we have to provide about 60000 visitors on the site in a day. So, what is the most optimal of doing this? Please, give an advice, I'll be very gratefull and will ask You to take part in this business as a professionals.
Oh man, sorry, you're aiming too high. I don't want to disappoint you but I think it will be extremely hard to achieve. Look at zales.com - it is one of the world's most popular jewelry sites and it is getting around 20,000 visitors per day. Check their yahoo backlins - they've got 49,000 backlinks. The site is huge - it has over 100,000 pages. If anyone would be to beat zales.com, he'd need to either double the number of their backlinks or the number of pages by creating huge, enormous amounts of unique content. Your main problem is that not enough people will look for jewelry. No, OK, millions per day are looking for various types of jewelry but I mean, you'd need to create a megasite that deals with various types of jewelry - not just a certain niche. It is certainly doable if you've got a large team and loads of money (I'm talking 6 figures here).
I agree with tankard, 60,000 visitors a day is totally unrealistic. What makes you think that you need this amount of traffic to have a profitable site? Just curious. Peter
As for the budget - it may be different, we are just looking for the vost optimal way of doing this. we have enough people, not one or two, but real team. The site is rather huge and people know it , they just have never used any optimization. I think we can try. The goal of this traffic is - selling ( real conversion on the site) , but for the first time it'll be enough to provide about 60000 visitors per day.
Buy some banner space on sites like yahoo, MSN, foxnews, youtube,,, some really high traffic sites. But if your going to buy banner space on those sites, you better get ready to spend some money, because its not going to be cheap.
You simply can't. If your client is being unrealistic like that, you are going to have to set them straight.
What kind of conversion are you getting. What is your visitor value? Can you spend $1 per visitor? Yep, going to need a boat load of cash....and that is just the testing phase. You need to provide more info. Unless you are already getting a few thousand visitors a day from organic traffic there is no "free ticket" here to get you to 60k visitors a day in a short time span. You only options is paid traffic and to get 60K visitors a day using PPC or ad networks will bankrupt you unless your jewelry is high end and well priced or you have a very unique product. Good luck ... your client will need it.
i think 60.000 is hard to achieve...because you must have many backlink on your site.. include .edu .gov to optimized your site, and maybe to increase you can make launching site...
SMH .... YES, 60,000 is achievable. Easily. The question is how much money do you have to invest. If there is a specific day you need the traffic, paid is the only way. Look into media buying and start testing way in advance of "show time".
Easiest way is to buy an advertisement. You will need to invest big money for 60k visitors a day and there are no telling if you can make a profit from this...
60,000. I would be happy with 600 hits per day. You realistically only need to have a few decent hits per day to make an even more decent living. I get about 300 hits per day on a good day, and with advertising and such forth, I hope to get it up to 500 or so, and with a 1% uptake in sales, that's still a decent amount of revenue. I wonder how many its Amazon and Play.com get per day.
Hey, if you manage to get even 10% of that per day, let me know how you did it or where you bought your traffic from! That's a lotta visitors in a day! The only thing I can think of is to post a crazy video in YouTube that will attract a million hits overnight, if you have a link included on the description, you may be able to achieve your 60,000 numbers. But I'm talking about videos like the Susan Boyle You've Got Talent type videos. Then you will have to do this on a regular basis to maintain that much traffic per day. Good luck with that!
If you want that visits, you should advert your site on TV channels, newspapers, in city on bulletin boards and many more..That`s not some easy and quick time job
The company I work for advertises between shows like Oprah, Jeopardy and others - the most we have ever gotten in one day was 6,500 visitors

Garbage in Garbage out my friend. Your goal should be to drive quality traffic that you can convert into business. Not everyone is going to spend money online to buy jewelry. You need to do your homework and you need to spend money to target the traffic if you want it that fast. Sorry to disappoint you. Of course you can drive 60,000 traffic but most of it will be useless... Aim for quality rather than quantity.
