I do agree with the poster. In my opinion, one website with quality, fresh and unique contents being added in a regular basis is much better than 100 sites with no addition or even poor addition.
No need to worry. If your sites are not junk then those will perform good one day. Just make sure to have quality sites.
Disagree with the poster. When we have a lot of website, we talk about network, so you can't maintain all of your sites alone, you need employees.
If a person can manage more than one site, than that will help earn more money. But if a site is made and is not updated, then I guess it will not help much to increase income. Many people make money from one main site
This is not a myth. Obviously if you put up 100 cookie cutter websites and do nothing with them then you are not going to make any money. However, the more websites you own that you do work on the more money you make. I would hope thats pretty common sense.
Some may agree, while others may not. If you are a full-time in internet business, you might consider to expand your business, while some part-timers may find it too difficult to handle.
Having only one site is a bit risky. There are tons of things that can happen to the site that will make your earnings ZERO overnight. Google SERPS fluctuate a lot these days and some sites also seems to disappear out of SERPS altogether for somethings you may never find out why. Your niche may collapse with no advertisers. Site gets banned by advertisers/adsense. Having all your eggs in one basket may not be the best idea. I will want to have atleast 5-10 sites doing well by outsourcing some of the work.
I dont agree with the topic starter. Most of the posters who clamed the revenue over $1,000 reported they have more than 3 websites. It's statistics. I also totaly agree with vihutuo about the advantages of the proper risk management for an average webmaster.
