    It totally pisses me off.

    I get 500UV I get $5 a day
    I get 1000UV I get $8.50 a day
    I get 2000UV I get $12 a day
    I get 2500UV and I'm getting $13.75 a day

It totally pisses me off. Its like the more you make google the less they payout. Anyone else pissed off about this?

I am just grateful that Google Adsense pays me a full time wage. We should all be grateful whatever it pays.. it's a FREE opportunity given to us by Google to earn a living from, if we put enough into it. Pre-internet years you had to actually work for a living!

What the hell are you talking about, 1812? Its not FREE money. I worked for that money. I've been competing for popularity to my site for years. Google makes money from me. Its not like they are giving free money away.

    Hi,
    Whts ur niche ?

Try testing amazon. I don't use google as I find amazon and ebay more profitable.

It totally depends on wht ur site is on. My site is based on health.

    Cheers,

It's FREE to join.... It's not YOUR money, it's their advertisers money and Google have given you and me the chance to have a slice without too much hard work.. You won't win this one... I have over 40 websites, yes of course that was hard work.. a lot harder than anything you have done by the looks of your revenue.. but it's not work in the sense that you get up with an alarm bell screeching in your ears, sit in rush hour traffic, get bossed and ordered around all day, be given an hour break in a 10 hour shift, be told when you can and can't have days off...then sit in rush hour traffic again to get home in time to see your children go to bed!... Thyt's work for most people!..

Whilst most are out at work, I am sat with the wife in a pub garden having an expensive lunch and enjoying the company of my family and my dogs whilst Google kindly throw money at me every second!

Google does not make money from you... You honestly think a multi billion pound business survives from your $13 a day?.... piffle...

Well, the thing is I don't actually sell anything there. Its just information(science)
Is this suppose to make me feel better because I am not being paid fairly. That some total stranger(you) enjoys an expensive lunch from google. Seriously, you are not helping.
Actually they do. Advertisers pay say $20, I bring them the clicks, google then pays me around $8 of that, however my issue is that the more traffic and clicks I get the less the percentage they pay out.

Lacey, I don't know you so I have no argument with you, my point is not to say 'look at what I earn', because to be honest I don't usually shout about it'.. I just used it in this thread to make a point. That point is merely that it annoys me when people moan about what Google does or doesn't pay them, when they have no obligation to you or I or any other publisher to pay you anything. It is their choice to offer you this excellent program, it is their choice that out of all money making revenue programs on the internet in the world they offer you the best one!... They are not your employer, they are not in debt to you for anything you do for them or for however many hours you 'give' to them...

I mean no offence Lacey and I wish everyone could make lots of money, I have no reason to wish otherwise... I just say, be grateful for what you get, and if you think it's not enough, there are people out there that can prove differently that Google CAN pay more than enough... It's not down to them though.. it's down to how YOU and I go about getting it no?

and Lacey you really don't need to explain to me about the percentages of how it works.. do you think I don't know this? what I meant was.. Google could survive without your $20 you say you earn them?

If I double my traffic and get paid 1% more I have a good reason to be pissed about it. I've been working online for a longtime and I don't feel like wasting my miserable life dinking around with a stupid company that rips people off.

Let's see how much they actually do make..

There are on average (let's not count leap years shall we..) 365 days in a year.

Let's say 1 user makes $13 daily, so Google makes about $20 from that $13 (minus the fees they pay you).

    $20 x 365 = $7300 a year made from 1 user making $13 a day.

Now im going to guess there's around a million adsense users (im sure there's many more, but this is just a rough figure)

$7300 a year x 1,000,000 users = $7,300,000,000 which is 7.3 billion $ a year just from 1 million accounts making $13 daily. Of course there are other expenses, however this is only a rough figure, therefore they could make much more than this, or a little less.

How do you think Google manages to stay a multi-billion dollar business? By continuing to offer their search service? Ha!

I don't think they make a lot of money by cutting profit from people they make money from. I'd assume they make good money because they are a monopoly. Selling cellphones, buying sites everywhere. I'm surprised they don't have a car out yet.

The other day I went back through my last year's CPC vs traffic etc graphs in Adsense and there was quite a noticable gradual longterm drop in CPC while the traffic rose - the trend lines actually crossed.

Hadn't noticed it though, as the daily money was going up up up.

Looking at those stats over a long period is pretty freaky when you see totals in thousands of dollars

That's because your traffic doesn't covert - and the advertisers are paying less.

Sounds like your site was smart priced?

Maybeb your new traffic is crap and not best quality

Anyway nobosy should be so naive and think
If with 500 viz they earn 5$ with 2500 they earn 25$

Yep, it should be somewhere around that. You shouldn't make way less because you are bringing in more profit with the company.

My experience tells me that the higher the impressions, the lower the cpc when the ctr is equally high. However, when the ctr is lower say by 1 to 2 %, the cpc goes up much higher. This seems to be the trend. I have noticed days which give you very good ecpm, but other days not as high. There is always fluctuation. Perhaps this is caused by your competitiors doing SEO. I noticed when I perform SEO, my earnings move up.:)

Yes that's what I mean, instead of just being what they were originally, a "search engine" they have expanded to multiple areas, such as browser development, their own mobile IOS, various big hit sites like YouTube, their own computer OS (I think it's still in development) etc. even their adsense program makes them a lot of $$.
