The More the keywords, the better?

    Guys,

I am confused, is it true that in SEO, the more the keywords, the better, anyway, my keywords are very specific and natural, easy to understand.
    What do you think?

    Thanks for your advise?

Could you be more specific? If you are talking about stuffing a ton into a page, then no, i think it is better to pick a few to really focus on for each page.

If you are talking about trying to get the best traffic, yes the more good keywords you can find (and then build out pages based on them) the more you will be able to cover your niche.

Focus on a few inter-relating keywords you want to target. Prioritise by using one or two in the Title, Headings and so on. Don't just go after every one you can think of. And maybe don't go for the most obvious at first, since competition will be highest with the most popular keywords.

Generally, no. As emitind said, just focus on the keywords related to the topic or product you're writing about on a given page.

I personally have the best success optimizing each page for only one or two keywords/phrases at the most. And don't over do the keywording on the the page or it will look like your stuffing. Just make it seem natural. Be sure to include your keywords in your Meta Title and Meta Description also.

Uhm Christian, there's no such thing as a META title. There's a TITLE element, but not a META ttitle.

You don't need to stuff a lot of keywords, just pick the ones that best describes your site. You can even have different set of keywords per page (depending on the topic) :)

The more the keywords, the crazier you'll get trying to rank them all in SERPs :p

How about in meta? Can we put more keywords in the meta tags?

You can put keywords in there, though the keyword meta tags aren't that important anymore. They still matter, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't suggest spending a lot of time stuffing tons of keywords in there.

it not necessary the more keywords u have the chances of getting high ranking, the keywords must be relevant to your website ...

One may think that's the case but it's actuallky not (with the exception of the relevant keywords). If you have a lot of keywords on your page, chances are they won't be worth much. You'll be far better off instead concentrating on the keywords that are relevant to the page they appear on.

I read one site that says it depends on the type of site we have, if the site is static, then a fixed number of keywords is best while dynamic sites can have as many as you want based on the data that comes from the database.

    How true is this?

About as true as the Chicago Cubs winning the World Series in 2005 (or any year between 1909 and 2007).

In other words, not at all. Search engines don't care if a page is dynamic or static as long as they can parse the HTML that is generated, easily follow the inks that are produced, can read the content on the page, and follow the links that are on the pages that they are crawling.

There needs to be a balance, take into consideration grammar. You can't just Hyper VRE everything with keywords, it's useless and it looks plain bad. Can also get you banned by most search engines for spamming.

I'm sure what you mean is keyword density on your article/blog

I think a good keyword density is one for every 50-100 words

too high word density would make your site look spammy.....

If your content is matched with the lots of keyword then it'll be fine and no problem.
But if your content's meaning remain same on every same keyword, then it'll not be a perfect
    use for search engines.
