build the links normally, because that's the most important factor in SEO ..
when you overdo it, google will notice something strange and probably sandboxed or even deindexed your site...

I also experience this double description meta tag. in "all in one SEO plugin" un-check "Autogenerate Descriptions:" option to remove one of the description above. Hope this help.

Hmm i have a soccer blog, and i write post about upcoming matches.. so basically all i need is good ranking for 2 days.. then i dont care even if it drops to 100 page or gets de indexed as the match is already over

First of all, getting backlinks from forums signatures

secondly, submitting blog and rss feed to directories.. i do them slowly.. never do them all of a sudden.. like lets say 30 directories in 1 week and then i stop

third is linking my blog post and blog from my other blog which is pr3 but different niche

    4th is blog commenting

5th trick is that when i write post, i give a link to the same post that i m writing somewhere in the text..

6th i give keywords but not on all post.. only some of them..

hmm..thats all :$ nuthing specific apart from there..

In my xp, slashes in URLs don't have much to do with googles perceiving significance. The only problem would be that increasing of URL length would decrease the significance of the rest of the keywords in the url.

So it is beneficial ?? but when i get rid of the folders, the link changes on my old posts too, so all the traffic goes waste :$ ..

everybody wants to get on the first page for their term. Just keep doing what you are doing. Maybe google ought to start splitting the results page from top to bottom so more sites can get on the first page. So instead of seeing 12 results searchers would see 24 results.
