I have a link to my site, it says "Wedding Venues in the North east" The link is at the bottom of this page: http://www.midlandphotographic.co.uk/ and links to this page: http://www.diamondphotography.org.uk/wedding_venues_north_east.html However, i have tried several back link checking software but the link does not show up? The link has been live for about 6 weeks. Does anyone know why the back link checking software will not show the link.
1) do NOT use back link checking software, Google frown upon it and it also does NOT reflect in any way what Google see. 2) Google don't always show YOU the webmaster what THEY see. Trust me it's being picked up by them.
backlink checking software's mainly count a link as a 'Backlink' if the link has a 'Dofollow' value associated with it If the software is going to encounter any link which is a 'Nofollow' then it might not count it as a backlink You can manually check this by viewing the source code of the page in question ...
