The Man Comes Around

Greetings everybody, I have just registered my first .com domain on Easily but I am pretty new to all of this. I chose them because they are based in the UK and apparently have good, UK based support. I am not sure who to use for hosting and, honestly, I need to read up more on this. I might just try out the same site and see how it goes but I felt a need to just do at least one productive thing and finally register the name today.

This site came up whilst I was searching for something to do with domains and hosting so I decided to sign up as I'm sure I'll be coming here to learn what to do and maybe ask questions if need be. There seems to be a lot going on but this looks like a very good site; I'll have to be on my best behaviour!

I'm not experienced with site-building at all and will need to use a site that has a good way to do this. I looked at Breezi recently and that seems okay. I wasn't a big fan of Wordpress when I used it briefly. I only really need a simple design for now but I'd like it to be quite striking and bold.

If there is anything, having read that, that you think I absolutely cannot afford not to see/know about; please, let me know. I am here to learn more than anything else but, at the moment, even that is feeling like a vague goal. Still, I have the name for a year hahaha; I like to think I'll have the hang of it by next December!

P.S. Do you think vBulletin is the best forum software, then? I post on a few and I think it is by far - if I ever start a forum as I wish to, I would use vBulletin for sure. A little pricey but I think it does make a difference.
