    Before: $0.50 / day

    After: $4.03 / day

Check the attachments. No change in the traffic or the avg. no. of clicks.

I know $4 a day is nothing to the pros, but hey there are still publishers who get less than a buck in one day.

85% of all my revenue comes from the 336x280 block. I will give you one more tip.
Wrap the text around the ad block like you did previously.

but don't you think that make your visitor think you are more considered with the ad revenue than the site content? i wouldn't do that on my site tho it yields bigger bucks obviously.

    yyCC: Valid point.

But such ads have become the norm in many sites. Take Digital Inspiration for example. Check out the single post page (i.e., click on any post title to read it in full). I am experimenting by following the foot steps of other successful blogs.

I don't feel guilty because I believe I provide useful and valuable info on my blog (esp. the script installation tutorials and screencasts).

I think it's because the text now wraps around the ad and you can't help but see it while you're reading.

that's a really good increase. I'll be sure to try it on some sites.

Doesn't the 2nd screen shot violate the TOS? Your putting a title ABOVE the ad content making it look related.

Now, I can see if you had a line or 2 of text in between it.... but you don't.
