...its normal to have a toothbrush with a display.

    I mean, a toothbrush with a display!!?
And it costs $100, and its normal to have it. We are getting like spoiled brats that buys without thinking. For me that toothbrush with a display is a sign that that the society is going down the drain. Nobody needs a toothbrush that tells you that you have brushed your tooths for 2 minutes. Specially not when millions of people in the world dont need a toothbrush at all because they dont eat.

Whats your sign NO1 that we have gone to far in luxury consumption?

i don't really think we have become luxurious, most people don't use those stuffs! people that have money don't really waste it on those products! it's only for those that really like the technology etc!! it's there money, it's there choise!!

don't think about the poor too much, i have seen poor who are happier then the rich:)

I think keeping a healthy mouth is very important, however, I believe they should be using the extra money on a project to benefit mankind's survival; be proactive for the inevitable day that our planet's star burns out/collapses.

Getting like spoiled brats? I thought we already were.

We live in aconsumer driven society. We are constantly searching for the next great product. I'm not surprised that people drop hundreds of dollars on useless crap. It happens all the time.

Once people start appreciating what they have rather than what they don't have, the world will be all the better for it.
