I've scrolled through my iPod several times and realized there's songs I own that are a minute long, and some that are breaking ten. It's funny how contrastic my music taste can be. Just these 5 have a combined run time of 65:40, over an hour. Korn - Daddy (17:31) Long Version Korn - My Gift To You (15:32) Slipknot - Iowa (15:05) Nurse With Wound - I Cannot Feel You As The Dogs Are Laughing And I Am Blind (9:45) Boredoms - Super You (7:37)
I have lot's of pirate-downloaded songs, but i don't consider that "ownership" spreads on that... How do you think, if you and me have downloaded the same song, do we both own it? You do you own only half of the song? How about it's author, singer, and producer? Do they own anything concerning this song? I've never met an Indian or African or any third world person who'd said they had owned a song. it must be some of our Anglo-Saxon world-relations...
Calm your tits, I downloaded the songs and "have them". Technically I don't own them, but I didn't realize I'd encounter someone that is as much of a smartass as you to correct me.
Sorry, ain't correcting you -- just loving philosophy and trying to understand our relations with the world around
Oh, sorry, I thought you were trying to be sarcastic. My bad, I take things a tad too seriously sometimes.
Not neccessarily, it was more aiming at the fact that some songs can be a minute and some can be ten. The genres and styles themselves are related for the most part.
