Ok so i baught a brand new nissan x-trail for $21,000. However while they were checking financing they added an extra 0 onto my anualy income (accedently), I did not know this at the time of purchase therefore they said everything looked good and let me take the car home. About a month and a half later when the call was recived about this mistake (from nissan) they said i could return it now or whenever if i cant afford to keep it. Now a month later after this phone call i can not afford it and when i went to take it back they said NO!

    What can i do?
It it my fault they added an extra 0 on my anualy income?

You seem to have two issues:

    1. The application for a loan mistakenly had an extra zero to your income.
    2. You can't make your car payments.

    Is that right?

I think you are also saying that at some point, you received a call letting you know that they realized the error on the application and that you could just 'return' your new car at any time if you couldn't pay for it.

First, there is no excuse for making a mistake on your income on the form you signed, unless you are claiming it was altered after you signed it. That is not really going to get you anywhere unless you are claiming they changed it after you signed it. Regardless of the mistake, if you knew you could not make the payments you should not have bought the car. I also highly doubt that anyone told you that you could just return the car anytime you couldn't pay for it - that is simply not how things work and not the way major corporations deal with this common issue - perhaps you misunderstood.

Honestly, I think your best bet is to contact a credit counseling service or an attorney to see if they can assist you in getting out of the contract before your car is repossessed.
