Anybody else here a fan of the Zelda series? Basically your this hero named "Link" and you get all these different weapons to restore peace to the world. I've been a fan ever since I played OoT (Ocarina of Time) and haven't stopped. Got Twilight Princess and I love it. Post your best, or worst, experiences here. Mines when I never knew of the Cuccoo swarms, and attacked one. Lots of times. Then i was swarmed by them and they killed me. Embarrassment level just raised about 10 notches.
the new game for wii is really one of the best in the zelda legacy. Game play is nearly the same as going back to ocarina of time, but the new wii controls really makes the game so much more interactive. If you are into fantasy and problem solving, its really a must play
Twilight Princess on the Wii is great. Love the new way to aim your bow and arrow and such. Have you finished it? If not, where are you up to?
When I buy the Wii, the first game I'm gonna get is Legend of Zelda. From what I hear it's supposed to be the best game for the system.
It is (currently). But I think Super Smash Bros. Brawl will top it, as Melee was awesome. Brawl even has online play!
I love Zelda it rules XD and those guys are geniuses they are basiclly telling one story over and over in different time zones, with slight differences. and there making millions! Great games though, they never disappoint.
Hmm, I used to watch the show when I was young. But I'd say my favorite was Zelda: Link to the past. There was the one for nintendo, and I could never get passed one level...forgot which one though ><.
When I used to play the original Legend of Zelda, my cat would sit on top of the TV and bat at Link. Link was the only video game character that she thought was a mouse....
I'm a fan.. but didn't play it on WII yet... How is it.. I heard the graphics are really normal on wii...
The graphics of the Wii version are exactly the same as the Gamecube version because it's just a port. [Except the world is mirrored] Still, the graphics are nice.
I first started playing Zelda on Ocarina of Time. I've been playing ever since. Link to the Past, Majora's Mask, Oracle Series, Minish Cap, Wind Waker...you name it, I've played it. Haha. And yes, Twilight Princess is absolutely epic. I have the gamecube version because at the time I didn't have a Wii but I played it nonstop and beat it in less than a week. I wanna play it again and complete the game fully (all subquests, Poe's, etc. etc.)
Really enjoyed the part in TP where theres that town [name slips my mind] and it has 20 enemies in it. You have to kill them all. ^_^ I made a save there so I can play it over and over.
I was a big fan of the Ocarina of Time on the Nintendo 64 but other than that I haven't really played the other ones. I guess I lost my passion for gaming shortly afterwards.
