Hey, Has anyone seen the film The Kingdom? If so, what were your thoughts? If not, it's about a team of U.S. government agents is sent to investigate the bombing of an American facility in the Middle East. I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. It wasn't biased towards any one country, it showed that men can form a friendhsip in the hardest of times if they put their religions aside. It had a good storyline, a good cast and enough action to satisfy an action junky. Discuss.
OK.. Here is one First thing is that came to my mind is that friendship is love. Pure, clean inner being of any human is love and friendship is should be unconditional. There is no religion, color of skin, languages, culture, memories... Love is universal, unconditional for every human. All other coming from fear which is opposite. (Secret of the Matrix, David Icke) At second thought movie is lame and point is that everyone should accept US policy whenever and where ever - that means "spreading love" in this flick. So, from my point of view using pure, universal feeling which is any kind of love and in this situation friendship in a correlation with any kind of weapons and daily politics and corporations needs is way too much. btw, good to see you are in Turkey - your dream destination, if I am not mistaken
It was a good flick... thoroughly enjoyed it. The possibility of such an attack in those self-contained Aramco communities is creepy... obviously inspired by the 2003 Riyadh compound bombings
