israel is the same as india, with more guts, and thats why they are alive today, cause they have guts,

I dunno, I think the republicans are going to play the terror fear card again, and I think it's going to work. Funny thing is, your chances of getting killed by terrorists is less than getting hit by lightning. It's totally silly. It's like peoples fear of being attacked by a shark, EVERYONE thinks about it and is scared. But the chances of it happening are like .00000000000001%

I have no fear of terrorists personally. I mean, it could happen, but I have a much much much higher chance of getting nailed by a drunk driver. I just don't see what the fuss is about.

 

"Fear card" is popular and fashionable to repeat these days. Time and again, our government has uncovered and stopped terrorist plots since 9/11. The threats are real.

Like you, I don't "personally" worry about getting killed by terrorists. But it isn't about "me, personally." It's about our country, about our fellow countrymen. Our government has a responsibility to protect our country. When democrats figure that out, they may start winning elections.

We did nothing about terrorism during the 90s. It cost us (our country) dearly. Inaction is not the best course of action. Making sure terrorists have a fair chance isn't an option (someone let the NYT know this, please!). Reacting to a terrorist attack is not an option. When democrats figure that out, they may figure out how to actually win an election.

 

Just wait.. about 1 month from every important election... they'll uncover new terror plots to blow up something, and of course another new bin laden tape will come out saying not to vote for republicans

 

Is there ever a good time to uncover a terror plot? I think some would rather they not be uncovered. At least that seems to be the impression they give. I hope this is the agenda democrats push again. Until they realize how important national security is and that it isn't a game, they are not going to win elections. We can only hope they push a "fear card" agenda. Nothing will ensure a republican victory like a wussy democrat
