The IRS and Federal Reserve are a scam!

My business partner and I have been taking a more active stance as far as protecting our civil liberties. Recently I have been reading more about the Federal Reserve system and the IRS. The first thing to note is that neither are actual government entities. The second thing to note is the fact that there is no actual law that requires us to pay federal taxes. Further, our federal taxes go 100 percent toward paying back the federal reserve that is owned by the largest banks in our country. Here is a 2 hour video that will give you some insight into the stripping of our civil liberties. I don't buy into conspiracies, but there is some pretty strong evidence supported by quite a few high ranking people.

At any rate, here is the video in question.

For a smart person, with a sophisticated business, I am surprised at this post by you.

This is total bunk, please don't buy into this crap. You make yourself look like a crackpot. It has been tried and claimed and rejected so many times, it is hard to keep track.

Putting your name on this type of illegal scam really discredits you. That being said, you and your business partner make great software.

Yeah, its only in the constitution. Congress has the power to levy and collect taxes. Followed up by an amendment that makes income tax possible. But no law, persay. I suppose you have a point

Don't pay your taxes and see how righteous your beliefs are.

Before you chime in with taxes are "voluntary" thats not what it says. It says voluntary compliance. Read what that means if it confuses you.

Why would anyone want the monetary policy to be controlled by the same people who control the fiscal policy anyway?

And now you're changing your story. First it was "there is no law" then when I link you to the law you say the law is unconstitutional.

If I link you to the amendment, you'll say it wasn't ratified.

When I point out that it was ratified correctly, and cite a source will you accept that yes, the government can tax us?

About the only legal way to stop paying taxes is to give up your social security number and that creates a whole set of different problems of it's own.

Such as not being able to open up a bank account, or get a job at most places.

That's true. You can't really live without your SSN (or something equivalent) in the US.

Of course, if you don't have a job, or a bank account to make investments from, you have no income to pay taxes on.

Bank of America will now give you a checking and savings account, a credit card, and even a mortgage without a SSN, though you'll pay a higher rate for the credit and receive a lower rate on the savings.

I would also venture a guess that if you really wanted a job, there is plenty of work one could obtain without possessing a SSN.

All you're going to do is get yourself in trouble. If there is one government arm that I'm scared to death of, it's the IRS.

I have had run-in's with: courts, DEA, Police, Under Cover Police, and the Florida Dept. Of Corrections.

I would go through all of that ^ again, to stay off the IRS hit list. lol

I agree with you 100%. I have an accountant and a tax attorney that keep me on the "straight and narrow" as far as the IRS is concerned.

I was only making a point. There was a site someone posted the last time this topic was brought up that detailed what the site owner went through when he relinquished his SSN. It was an interesting read.

Whoa, whoa i'm not talking about not paying my taxes. For one it is completely legitimate for the government to tax earnings from a corporate entity (such as my three S corps). The main thing to take away from this video is the information about the federal reserve, and the overall picture of the government. I'm all for the fairtax and am actively supporting it as well as the reworking of the federal reserve system.
