It’s not very revolutionary as its nothing new. You take any of the phones that have come out in the past year; you get the same services, just not as powerful. No, the Iphone isn't revolutionary; it’s just a development of existing technology.
True. You can purchase phones with SD cards and stuff that can hold lots of music too. It's probably cheaper than getting the iPhone. The thing that will get people using it is because Apple made it, having the want factor, and stuff like that.
I know. The only thing Apple have over other companies is that "wow" factor when you look at their products. People normally prefer quality over economy, which is perfectly fine in its own right, and I praise Apple's designs. Just wish they weren't so damned expensive
Yeah, I'm not against Apple or anything. I have an iPod, but I don't see the point in spending that much money for a cell phone that has MP3 capabilities when that type of technology has been around for a while, like you said.
I've never bothered buying an iPod. No particular reason other than I'm poor so don't get much chance to buy stuff. As for my phone I'm still quite impressed with my Samsung D600, especially since I bought a memory card for it. I've had it for over a year now, and its got everything that the iPhone has.
To be honest, iPods aren't as superior as people think they are. I have an iPod, and it's currently in the Apple Repair Department now for repair. It just broke, the buttons stopped working. It happened to my friend too. I think you're much better off with a cell phone and a SD card or something or just a regular cheaper MP3 player rather than an iPod.
Yeah, I hear a lot of horror stories about technical issues with iPods and the expense to get them repaired. Good thing about SD card MP3 players is that you can upgrade your memory, pretty cheaply to. I'm sure theres more out there, but I remember a friend telling me about this one called the Ipov or something. Costs about £20 and you just stick SD cards in it, so probably about £35 for an MP3 player, same size as an iPod Nano.
who cares if it is revolutionary, it is going to make millions. and i am going to buy one, coz my phone is getting old, and my ipod is too
would not buy it, seems like they had this technology ages ago, they probably have something new right now which they are going to release after they make millions from the iphone
well im not sure in your country, but im from aus, and it will be 750 AUD which i dont know it american or other currency
http://www.cyber-knowledge.net/blog/2007/01/09/iphone-confirmed-600/ $600 - for the 8 gig $500 - for the 4 gig
I would have been interested if Apple released this phone without a Cingular contract. And, except the multi-touch screen and the accelerometer, nothing impresses me about the phone.
