obviously there is a problem with the image which he cant fix for some unknown reason. perhaps it was a cats genitals and it was removed ? who knows...... anyway in the meantime i think we should instead start discussing what dopes actually motivate you to create and build. my motivation is that i will be able to care for my parents as they deserve and that i can make enough money to stop work spend time making myself into a more knowledgeable person and eventually impart that knowledge in an efficient manner so to further the pursuit of mankind to reach the stars and live forever. (plus i love the bugatti veyron and i want one)
I find this thread uninspiring. When cells live forever its called cancer. I can't imagine the entire human living forever to be any better. 70 year olds are cranky enough. Acid and marijuana.
I wasn't being funny. Living forever would probably be the worst thing that could possibly happen. There's a reason the Bible includes the part about keeping Adam and Eve away from the tree of life. When everyone is perfect, immortality is fine. When there is evil in the world, immortality would be an unimaginable curse. Whether or not you believe Adam and Eve is a literal story, the author was not stupid. Or did you think that only the good people would live forever? And who decides who is good and who needs to be purposfully killed? Are we going to have prisons and lock people up for eternity? The earth would overpopulate very quickly if nobody died. The wicked people in the world would become an unstoppable cancer. So I'm not sure why you thought I was trying to be funny. For the sake of humanity, everyone needs to accept that for the world to exist they cannot be in it forever. Enjoy your stay, be happy, and don't be a selfish jerk that doesn't want to leave. You are not so important that you should never die. Nobody is. Being inspired by the idea of living forever is a very selfish and foolish goal. You should be inspired to make the best of the short time you have.
