    Hi,

What do you think about "the" stopword in domain name? Is it good for SEO?

Not unless "the" is part of the keyword phrase you are targeting.

I think it would be useless to include 'the' as it would just make the name longer without any real benefit! :(
People generally take help of such word... only when their desired single word or keywords is not available and they combine 'the' with it to pass through! :)

Maybe to try with some other addition to the name like "24" or "365"?

There is no harm in going ahead and registering it. 'The' is lot better than any other crap word which at times one has to combine... to just get the desired keyword! :)

From an SEO stand point it isn't too bad.

If there is an option to register "whatever.net" vs "thewhatever.com", I'd probably opt for "whatever.net".
