The impossible is happening

I make a search and dont click on any of the results. I check my webstats and I see the search I made!!!!

Im getting referrals from a search engine without clicking on anything!

This thing happened on another site a while ago where I would think up a random phrase and then strangely Id see that phrase appearing in my webstats after a few minutes to an hour, searches from all over the world Google.ca, Google.au, Google.com not searches made by me yet the same searches.

I must be dreaming all this because non of this is possible yet its happening.

 

You mean nobody else EVER uses the same terms that you are using?

 

I know what you're talking about. In your Google Analytics, you get to see keywords, people searched for, as keywords that actually brought you traffic. And your bounce rate is 100% for such keywords, right?

 

It may be impressions only that any surfer have made.

i think it is only searched keywords not clicks on paid results , i don't think that someone can earn without clicks .

Yes, google reveals to you some searches that displays your site in search engine results but without entering the site. It can be useful sometimes.

No you dont understand. I make a search, I DONT click on any search results, then I see that search made by someone in my webstats.

This is impossible yet its happening.

 

Ok let me explain this as some of you arent understanding what Im talking about. Maybe I didnt make a very good job of explaining this.

Lets say you go to Google and think up a random phrase off the top of your head eg "what the hell is on tv tonight?"

Then you hit the back button on your browser, you dont click on ANY search results.

Then you wait a few minutes to an hour and then check your visitor stats and the only search that was made within that hour was exactly the one you typed in above and it came from another Google say Google.ca or Google.au or Google.in by someone in another country and using a different browser to yours (ie a real person)

The odds of that are astronomical. Its bizarre and I cant think of a possible explanation.

This went on on another site of mine a few months ago. Now its happening in Yahoo as well as Google.

Just bizarre! Its would still be incredible if you actually clicked on a result but the fact you arent makes it even more incredible!

 

Try to deploy Google Analytics and/or Statcounter codes on your site, then do the same if the same result will appear.
