The impact of Christmas on the Web site traffic？

my traffic went down also about 50%. Let's see this new year if it will be the same

 

my manufacturing niche went down 50% too, this happen every year

At Christmas time website traffic was very slow because mostly peoples was at leave.

It depends on the niche. Sites such as gifts and online stores will do well while some others may experience a decrease in visitors.
Just as in real world where some shops will do well while others won't.
