The Hurt Locker

Did you watch this movie yet? what do you think of it ?

 

I expected this movie for a long while to come out

 

I Watched its decent abt bomb defusal team

 

1. I liked it ( i like war movies and stuff )
2. It was a bit longer than expected and a bit slow but didnt affect me a lot
3. It shouldnt have been given an Oscar award just because its about American soldiers in Iraq. ( although its admirable what soldiers do )

 

its a good movie

but not at all realistic

 

I personally spent time in Iraq with an infantry division and I must say that, despite what extremepullups has to say, the movie was quite realistic. The explosions and action was, of course a bit overplayed. The emotional display in the movie was very true life. I give it an 8/10

Well. This is not a war movie. It's about hazardous duty in dangerous situations, sometimes real, sometimes perceived. I also was in Iraq as downeastdesign and i do think this movie captured the situations of the bombdefusal teams really well. but the movie is not about that either. it's about how war affects somemones mind. As seen in the movie he leaves hes familly to get back to the action after he has been sent home already.

 

its not to bad gud to watch

 

I have not seen this movie yet. But now from this rivews i have to see this very soon.

 

this movie is NOT best picture territory. weak acting, 2-dimensional characters, lots of machismo and explosions. i'd give it a 6/10. if i paid to see it, i'd want my money back. thankfully i only wasted time on it.

 

I thought it was pretty good

 

I can't decide whether to wait for it to come to dvd :S

 

I thought this movie was fantastic. It had a realistic feal to it.

Amazing movie with real war ..

and have a big boom..

 

explosions= realistic

that guy doing whatever the hell he wanted (leave the FOB, go freakin commando in down town Baghdad) = not realistic at all and basically misportrays what the military is doing in Iraq

 

won the Oscar Award,,,......

 

I can just say that It is a fantastic movie. Avatar has done good business and a nice 3D movie. But The hurt locker is totally different and unique movie...

 

I actually didn't enjoy it that much. There didn't really seem to be a big plot, just kind of blowing up things one after the other...

 

Hurt Locker is such an amazing action and drama movie. I recently download hurt locker movie. I have seen it many times. It's really an interesting movie..
