    Weird, a user of this forum was asking for a new host earlier as he received an email from them saying they were shutting down and no refunds would be given. The thread is in this section somewhere.

    if the server failed, other host are not able to transfer anything, so if they are able, its still running.
    if his main page got hacked and replaced by some hackers webhosting page, giving options to register new account there (for money) its clear many customers fall into it and pay because they don't want to loose their stuff..
    i don't tell its that way, but its possible, its all bit weird like it goes..

    yes, and that makes it suspisious, the other post with the quoted email mentioned the server was down, nothing about accounts could be transferred to the " new " hosting provider
