In my opinion, this article is the Holy Grail of how to do backlinking right: http://searchengineland.com/google-kills-bushs-miserable-failure-search-other-google-bombs-10363 When you do backlinks don't have the hyperlink say something like "Click here!". It might get you more traffic from the website, but for your website to come to the top of the google search results, the text in your hyperlink needs to be keywords that relate to the content of your website. i.e. for a backlink to a website on credit repair, the hyperlink should say something like "Bad Credit Repair" and not "click here!". doing this will hopefully get more traffic to your website eventually, as long as you don't do a prank like in the article above...then google will screw your website over
Yes, Anchor Texts are very important for inbound links. I first knew about this 3 months ago. Then I changed my signature links
Also....what about adding a title tag with keywords within? I.e. TITLE="" and between the "" add keywords like credit, repair credit, fix your fico fo it is "credit, repair credit, fix your fico"
" I am of the opinion that one keyword should be optimized for one page only. Putting too many keywords in one title tag may have adverse impact. Correct me if I am wrong.
