What is up with adsense? When I get mid xxx of clicks I average about .05. When I get about mid xx I average about .70. What gives. I am having the highest CTR today xxx averaging .04. Getting tired of the NonSense I mean Adsense

Ads that get a higher CTR, pay less per click for the same spot. It averages out so that the CPM should be about the same (though with the amount of clicks you get, the stats are bound to be unreliable anyhow).

You could stop using it then? What about YPN or affiliate sites.

I've applied to YPN but no response. I currently run CPA and I love it. Been doing it for 3 months and I am extremely happy.

I have seen people on this forum say that by reducing the number of ads on the page, the average cpc goes up.

Try filtering the low paying ads. I know your situation, happens to everyone.

I guess my only frustration is that one day x amount of clicks will get you xxx.xx a day and 2 days later about the same amount of clicks get you xx.xx a day. I really hate the extreme fluctuation.

Yes, if you reduce the ad blocks on your page the click rate will go up...as the higher paying ads will show up.

It could also be a coincidence in that more clciks could be generated on some lower paying ads.

    Totally understand your frustration...
But happens to all, and there's nothing much that can be done, other than applying filters and reducing the number of ads.
    Bye :)

I'm waiting for YPN to release it's international edition. I want to kick adsense out.

Now that IS a little bit harsh ;)
Adsense can't help having low paying ads in certain fields.
On one of my insect related sites I am getting around 6 cents per click, but I guess I will have to live with that :D
