The harder I try ...the worst it gets. I had several articles that were on page two in the beginning of November, all unique orginal content. It seems like whenever I try to get backlinks I get pushed bad futher in google. I do forum and blog commenting and use 2 services who do bookmarking and Rss feeds for me. I tweeked my articles to conform to panda but that still doesn't seem like enough. Getting very frustrating seems like I'm swimming up river.

You know other people are doing the same thing as you so you can not just blame Google.

I am not blaming google I don't want to blame anyone. Just want to make this work. Feel like I'm at the end of my rope and I not sure what to do.

See, article marketing is less effective nowadays...

If you are submitting your articles to multiple directories, Google consider them duplicate and filter them from search results.

Moreover, backlinks from articles are not very powerful.

Why don't you try blogging and blog commenting. It gives traffic, ranking and reputation to your website.

Blog commenting gives good exposure and backlinks. You may use 'Keyword Country' for finding dofollow blogs to dig out dofollow blogs for backlinking.

It's like fishing, if you try too hard, you'll only do worse. Sometimes you have to just let it chill. Side note, google has a honeymoon period for some stuff where they'll leave you at the top of the searches for a bit, then reposition you depending on the algorithm for google. Usually dependent on backlinks and content.

You have to build more links than your competitors to get your ranking higher ie if you have time ;) which i don't ;)
