I saw the movie yesterday. I was not very happy watching the movie. Have some mixed feelings about the Movie. It seemed M . Night Shyamalan lost track after his few hits. The movie was directed wonderfully, the characters were fitting the pieces and Mark Wahlberg did a splendid job.

Shyamalan's direction always seems so serious like his previous movies and thats what we expect, but he screwed up with humor in the movie but I still don't regret spending my bucks for the movie.

    Whats good in the movie?
Well a lot of things are to be noticed, abrupt suicides keep on happening the mass suicide epidemic caused by airborne toxin is a fairly-ballsy premise for a mainstream thriller. The opening scenes are intense with some bloody matter. The joke aren't good but Mark did what he could do the best to make them funny as I should say he was successful. The overall movie gripped you in fear some where but the expected Shyamalan Catastrophic Fear was lost somewhere.

Give me your Opinions. Need to know Who agrees with me and who Doesn't.:D

I think the story is compelling. What if the plants around us are evolving or are evolved to a point where they can communicate and coordinate with each other for an attack on humans with airborne toxins. It is not a scientific fact and it is science fiction but it is compelling.

Even though I heard people give this movie awful reviews, I still had to go see it. And the reviews i read were 100% correct. This was a waste of money and I laughed more than I wa scared. I dont suggest anyone seeing it.

I totally agree. While the concept could produce a decent discussion, the movie itself was horrible. There was no suspenseful moments, no humor whatsoever, and the acting was TERRIBLE to say the least. I was actually telling my family the only reason to go see it would be because it's so laughable you can't help but make jokes.

Marky Mark should have stuck to making movies about porn. I thought he did a good job acting poorly for the part in 'Boogie Nights', but now I'm beginning to think he wasn't acting!

When we were walking out of the theatre, people were discussing the retarded "plants were pissed at us" plot and someone reasoned: "Well, I've had bad allergies before, so it could be true!" LOL....

I thought it was a truly awful movie if I'm honest, with some of the acting in some places utter rubbish.

I liked 6th Sense, but for me he's not made a good film since, this one falling into the same category as films like lady in the water and the village.

How can you all say it was completely awful? Yes it was pretty sad but the overall presentation was good. The storyline was Okay but was executed with a different style.
