I'm new here and I just decided I would start a new thread on real user experience for ad networks, so biased people stay away from this thread as this is for publishers and advertisers only. So you have a new website and you think 'uhmm i should buy some traffic right? that way i'm gonna have double the users in no time' well.. you could be right in a way if you have a website that 99% of people like and you have some money to invest however these days traffic is a big game and the name of the game is scam, doesn't matter how they do it, some have a small irc botnet or made a virus that can get lots of fake users to access that page in the background all it matters is you get fake visitors and they get your hard earned money in exchange for... nothing. So why am i doing this? Well i need a decent ad network that i can work with as a publisher and as an advertiser and i've been testing quite a few and the test is pretty simple and straightforward i deposit a small amount ($10) and i analyze their traffic using analytics and i monitor the user activity, bandwidth consumption (which for a video streaming website is massive) and that way i can decide whether the traffic is real or not already taking into consideration all the facts and possibilities. Now I see this as really good consumer information so I think everyone should share as much information as you can here and name the bastards to avoid more people getting ripped off from these scammers both as publishers and as advertisers, and to the admins i believe we could have a forum with only reviews, now since i only have reviewed 2 of these networks i'm really short on stories to post here i'm gonna be getting more information in the meantime i really would like people to start sharing their experiences and if you have any ideas for a decent ad network for popup/popunders let us know.
