    Hi,
My name is Gary, and I am a loser.

I have created a few sites, shutdown some, and created others.
My oldest site is about 6 months old now.

When I started, I posted a lot of new information, quite a lot of the time. But after a while of no results, I cooled down a lot (I am a family man, with full time and thankfully nice paying job).

However, I still update each site at least once a week.

At the moment, I am trying the following with my 10 sites.

    Site1 - Posting in forums
    Site 2 - Technorati
Site 3 - Free directory submissions
    Site 4 - Digg
Site 5 - Blogarama (still waiting on that) and bloghop.
    Site 6 - Yahoo groups
    Site 7 - Rankingblogs
    Site 8 - Blodengage
    Site 9 - Squidoo
    Site 10 - Stumbleupon

I update a site, then go to the relevant promotion type and ping, submit, or pray waving a pointy stick.

Anyway, which of the above do you think will be the most successful?
    Did I miss anything?
PS: I made under $3 in march from 10 sites.
I am the king of the island of unlucky.

I'm including a poll since I can ask 10 questions, and have 10 sites.

Hmm I am not sure about "quality traffic" but so far stumbleupon has brought me the most traffic. I think Stubleupon is great for anything interesting but sites like Digg are better for longer articles. What I mean is a stumble can be just 1 picture and still be really popular.

Squidoo is excellent for driving highly targeted traffic to a site. The key is to focus on a very specific niche and use original content in your lens.

Yeah, Squidoo and Stumble are great if you do it right like mentioned above.
But what about your search engine traffic? After six month there should be a resonable amount of traffoc coming from the SE. If not you need to do sometiong with or about your SEO.

Best and targeted traffic comes from the search engines.

From the above list, I think the traffic from forums will be the most targeted.
