I'm currently overhauling my site, starting with using redirects instead of direct cb affiliate links and I discovered that the Rocket Language Courses cancels out your affiliate id. I have currently tested the French and American Sign Language Course. While from the French course this happened about 50% of the time. For the American Sign Language Course, it happened 100% of the time. I could be wrong and this could all be a silly mistake on my part (and I hope so) BUT as of know it stinks of scam, of robbing the affiliates of their due by the Rocket Language Publishers. So is there any other RL affiliate here?? P.S.: I'm 100% sure that I have setup the links and the redirects correctly. And RL has a strange order process too (very fishy), they ask you to enter your details on their site first instead directly on CB(this is the first time I experienced this) UPDATED: READ THE THIRD POST
It seems to be working for me. I actually started out promoting this site. I thought it converted good, and like most CB affiliates thought some sales weren't' going through. But I still did alright. I tried the sign language one, and it worked for me , and I just used the link they provided at their site. Its probably on your side, I would check into that. Vene
SCAM?? AGAINST CB RULES?? IF your a Rocket Language Affiliate, you get commission ONLY for digital downloads, i.e. if your potential customer that you've sent to the RL site chooses to download it through the internet. BUT if your potential customer chooses to get the hardcopy cd pack, i.e. get the cds physically mailed to him/her the affiliate gets nothing = ZERO DOLLARS. RL automatically cancels out your affiliate id!! WTF?? P.S.: This has been fully verified. try it out yourself too!
Wow, I just checked, and you are right! [affiliate=none] if you choose the physical package. WTF? Did you ask Clickbank or the vendor about this? What did they say?
Well it makes sense, You cannot get paid for the digital products, after all, clickbank is for digital products only. However it is the publishers fault that it offers physical orders for which you don't get commission, they should remove it and stick only to digital delivery
I've emailed CB today, but since they only work on weekdays I'll have to wait for their reply. I'll be emailing RL shortly (currently working on bum marketing). I think you meant physical. It's the publisher's fault and CB's fault, since CB is still processing their orders even for physical products. Thereby robbing the affiliates of their commission.
I have been promoting most of the rocket languages products for a while now and I have a made a lot of sales with them. I don't think a lot of people take the physical product option and even if they did, rocket spanish pays you up to $120 which I believe is for the physical version since the download version costs only $99.99 Rocket languages is just too big to try a trick like that which might lose them affiliates
Yes, my bad, I meant physical. They should've have done that, It' not okay. I think that most of the customers are buying the digital products, so you get the commission, but still... for every physical product sale you make them, you don't get paid anything, which isn't right, so they should definitely take the physical product off, maybe sell it separately via another company, because they're basically getting free sales with it
I was promoting a product for them, but since they are messing with me (affiliate = none) i'm out since today. Fu#% them.
And it is! But since they are selling physical items, you can't get a commission on those because of CB policies. ^^ Take a closer read above.
Ahh I see it, its annoying they sell them on the same site then because i'm sure we lose alot of sales that we never even know about!
UPDATED That's not true.... The publisher who owns the Rocket Language products sells the digital version from one account, and the physical version from another. In English: This means the slimy Rocket Language publisher is scamming us, coz he could do the same with only one single account and sell the hardcopy cds as an upgraded order, and we would all get our commissions for both!! But this slimy f#cker is selling it from 2 different CB accounts.. If you would like to promote both versions, it will be necessary that you promote two hoplinks per product. One for the digital version, and one for the physical version. This is not against ClickBank policy, neither is having the publisher collect the physical address information before the order form. The Problem: Now the problem is how do we get our potential customers to click 2 hoplinks at once?? So that we don't lose a sale.... I've been researching this and I think I've found a solution... PM me if you want the hoplinks and want to know how to get your potential customers to click 2 hoplinks at once.... So that your sure you don't lose a sale.. [Please note: I had to pay to learn this technique so I can't tell you for free]
Maybe their just lying or using some advanced techniques..Which I too have to setup when I get time.. In other words, the person who said that should know better!
Charge people to tell them to use a meta refresh with a 3 second delay, and on that page an iframe or image with the 2nd hoplink?
