It's been two days of mad dashing for English-language pronounceable domains with the new .ASIA TLD. Mostly, I think this will lead to a lot of MFA sites and search engine spam, with a minority of sites sincerely interested in regional accessibility. Are you interested in visitors from the region, or being able to rank keywords in your new domain?
I personally will be testing the water on a few BANS sites using the new extention. So I think only time will tell if it works or not.
