First of it's to complicated, second it looks to busy and isn't focused on the quality of the results! Last of all it's a gimmick, you think that people really want to waste their time voting/commenting on results, at the moment Googles PageRanking System is better that humanized voting because believe me if you can vote results to the top that will be BlackHat until all your results are SPAM.

 

Well, this thread has got 33 pages, so the search engine must be stealing quite a bit of DP's traffic it's a start!

 

i thought the subject is different.. said "google killer has arrived" harhar.. but anyways.. i thought id stop by...

 

good site...but im not sure if it will ever beat google only because publicity matters a lot

 

MESSAGE TO OWNER OF SPROOSE

You need to add image searching. Also, advertise it (I sell tips for $20 telling exactly where to advertise free, how to get traffic via affiliating, and much more, pm me) using Adwords or t.v. channel in your area. It actually stands a chance of beating Google, but you'll need all the features Google has plus something new (like the first new thing u have are the looks, now think!).

 

Wow, the concept is ok, but really? the google killer?

 

The results are pretty good. I know how it works and don't know if it will work with it's model. I see it ranks pages quite well and then if you signup and login you can then search for keywords for your own website and then keep going through the pages to find your website. Once you have found your website, you vote on it and it will move it to the top of the search results which will help the results to become more spammy and un-targeted.

 

The website is very good ...........nice interface... only that there is no image search !!

 

In my opinion the Google Brand is too hard to get rid of. It is the firt thing that runs through most people mind when you say search.

 

As of now Google dominates... But if the Yahoo and MSN combines maybe they can crush up Google if their services is without flaw... GOogle is almost the great as of now...
