The results are "ok" however, it didn't return the type of results i'm used to receiving with Google.

some of the results are similar to google's... some of them are not... I can't judge, but it will be difficult to convince anybody to use that instead of google.

Ummm...about the vote system or page design, I think it's not bad but what's the point that called "google killer"?:confused:

Nice try, but I think, to be a Google killer, your first priority is to index the internet. Not use some one else's index (too inflexible) and don't cut corners; just buy enough metal to index everything. Then you might have a chance; the internet was much smaller when Google started; making a Google-beater is, IMHO, not possible without serious venture capital, brilliant technical guys (which most companies think they have but don't, as by far most people cannot estimate what a brilliant technician actually is) and a strong will to offer the best in the world.

As long as I type something in Google and get *exactly* what I am looking for on the first page really really fast, I am not inclined to look anywhere else.

Looking at Sproose, they don't seem to have their own index (correct me if I'm wrong please) and they don't seem to have proper GEO targeted servers in place, besides that, the results are nice. Pour in a few million; get the technology improved (not the search tech but the infrastructure) and it could be a killer.

One other thing to think of though; Google lives of adwords; it is what makes them tick. They are not making enough inroads to earn cash otherwise making them weak in my opinion. If I would start a searchbusiness I would search for at least 2 pillars to make 50/50 of the company income. And drive on that, not on one thing making 100%. I don't think that is smart for something that is conquering the earth (and as Google killer, that IS your goal).

It's not exactly a google killer. No one can replace google, and that's for sure... But this engine is good :)

I hate it.. my site's not first one it .

Lol but either way for me it's taken a lot longer than google to load and the search result page design is not that great either. I liked the homepage though!

The results are actually pretty relevant, but I wouldn't call it a google killer just yet. Google is not about to let this sproose site take them over and will spend billions of dollars before they let any other search engine be more relevant than theirs.

I see a lot of repetition of the same domain under what I searched for...
