Unlike all the others, who mash-up / steal other engines results.. these are original. Not sure how their spider works though...

I hate the design TBH. Google will remain the best.

Results are better than Google, in some ways. Not bad.

I am not sure if I would call it the Google Killer, but it is pretty nice. Nice find. Stumbled. I wonder how big the index is...

The index is not big as google

I think if they can index some thing to whole of the web

    they can be really good!

I think Google or MSN may buy them out!

Index isn't very good and the design isn't that web 2.0ish. It will not make any type of microscopic dent on Google, for sure.

I like the site, think less images would be better, as this would make the pages load a little faster, but I still like it :)

Their search results took much longer to load than the equivalent search in google. Also the results aren't as intuitive regarding spelling mistakes as Google is, other than that I don't mind it... Don't think google has too much to fear though;)

It's actually not too bad. Have you considered adding extra details to the search results like aftervote.com does?

Sorry - not a google killer but I did find some interesting results regardless. I'll add it to my research bag of tricks. Thanks.

I wouldn't call it the killer, but this site definitely has a future in this market.

i will disagree with most people in this thread and say that this could well be a google killer.

remember, google became an altavista killer mostly thanks to its clever algorithm. sproose have an alternative to the clever algo, and if they do stuff like get webmasters everywhere to sport "sproose search" search boxes on their sites, like google did back in whenever that was, yeah, who knows, google might lose considerable market share. a lot of people don't love google as much as they used to.

of course, it will only be a matter of time before people like you figure out ways to game sproose and then it won't be as good no more.

Nothing can match Google (as of this moment) honestly. Nice clean design.. kind of like google ;) but the logo is way too generic.
