The Google Chrome Browser Thread (do not start another one!)

Google chrome is still slower than FireFox, I think. Its starting process is faster but the load process to browse websites is still slower than FF. If it can be customized like FF, that'll be great. But still, Google chrome is not something innovative so I don't see it as a great feature or anything like that.

 

Have to give them props.. this browser is fast as shit

 

Google pwns me with great software. Might as well bring us a new operating system next year.

 

Should be free and more like windows than linux.

 

don't worry firefox users. firefox will launch firefox 3.1 soon that is faster than chrome n of course ie (bye bye).

With hindsight now, I am back to using IE and FF, I just generally feel more comfortable using these, I will use Chrome for certain things that when working on a process IE and FF will both timeout after 15 min or so, however I notice chrome does not and is very reliable in that aspect, however for everything else I am preffering alternatives.

 

You mean it should have a blue screen of death, be ALMOST backwards compatible and bloated?

WEll, i used firfox at first and then opera , at present chrome

MY rating is 9 for opera 7 for chrome and 5 for firefox

I feel better surfing from opera.

no sane webmaster is going to abandon FF with all the developmental plugins that are available but i think Chrome is a valid contender for the general public. they just need to add a few things past this initial beta release that people come to expect of a normal browser and i think it could take off.

 

If you got to googles addons it takes you to firefoxes addons, im thinking the firefox addons will soon work with chrome, maybe, just an observation

 

i have to respectfully disagree. it might of been a canned document but those words have never before been seen in any other products such as gmail, their google apps, grand central service, etc... if you can find another product with the same wording as the original EULA then i'll retract and eat my wording regarding backing down.

 

I still haven’t tried it, but tomorrow will be day for testing.

 

i love google chrome!! especially the expandable vertical view!!

Still support Opera cause is no no for google to monopolize the web ....

 

there is surely something fishy about Google Chrome lets wait and see when it comes out in public.

 

i believe sooner or later, adsense will appear in ur browser ....

 

I don't think I will try this just because Im so use to IE know.
