I've been using Chrome today and have noticed that my full page Adbrite ads are not displaying within the browser. I try the same thing with IE and FF and they both work. Anyone else seeing this?

Couple of sites aren't quite right either, but I more worried about adBrite not functioning. I cannot get it to display the full page ads on any of my sites.

Interesting article here about privacy and chrome.

    http://www.theage.com.au/articles/2008/09/04/1220121394391.html

Lucky I did not install it as I would have signed over all rights and copyright to anything that I typed into the browser.

    Interesting.

If they are saying that they copied the TOS from other products, which other products of thiers sign over these rights?

Have either one of you seen any problems with Chrome displaying full page Adbrite ads? I've been using Chrome and they aren't displaying as they normally do.

fortunately they backed down and it's retroactive. google totally retracted section 11 giving the writer full copyright of any of their writings.

Some pages are pretty slow to load in it that aren't normally slow in FF.

Yes, but which of thier products contain this clause?

There are a lot of products they own and if they do the cut and paste for such a high profile bit of SW, what about all the others?

First, they did not "back down" from anything. The document is a canned document they put on there that had language with nothing to do with Chrome so it needs to be rewritten and is being rewritten right now.

Second, they are not "totally retracting" section 11. It is being rewritten to remove ambiguous non-related information that has everybody all flumoxed.

    Heres the thing:
If it's open source then any one is able to access the source code, and if google is trying to "Spy" on you then it will be a huge embarrassment to the company and it's ethics.
So there isn;t anything to be afraid of, just the begiining stages that might be a bit buggy.

    that's right

but there is a check box which states that by ticking it you are agreeing to send crash reports back to Google..but I think that's not related with browsing habits..

    Hello Buddy,

There are already so many threads discussing Google Chrome Browser. Just do a DP Forum Search and you will get plenty in this General Chat Category.

Anyways the answer to your question is the new Google Chrome Browser is not all that great as it was hyped. There is a lot more to be built into it like plugins and stuff like what the Firefox has in abundance. We have just written our review in iwebie. Check it out here

yesterday I've got chance to Install Chrome and checked all the features.

I think, it would be great if we can use SEO Pugins in Google chrome like using in Firefox plugins.

i like the this browser but just missing SEO Plugins and some other features but Hopefully Google will update soonest

    Thanks
    Eric
