I love it... Uses less memory than FireFox and IE... loads pages REALLY fast. The most efficient browser I ever used. And it even lets you close processes without the whole browser just crashing on you!

I opened firefox while chrome was running and it crashed... it's still pretty buggy. I didn't like it so far at all.

I'll think about it, but I'm watching this thread for a while before I do ... this is VERY encouraging ...

I think addons will be on soon. It's just 4-5 days this brownser is launched. FF has been on for years.

What did you do to make it crash? It's not "pretty buggy" and most people I know who've tried it have been running it quite a bit with no issues. (There is some sluggishness with spellcheck though)

There are hooks for add-ons right now if you know where to look but I don't know they're turned on.
One analytics site has Chrome pegged at just under 3% market share already.

:) Of course Google doesn't own your IP. It was just a clerical error, an overlook in the EULA.

    1. That depends on how many tabs you open.

    2. Read about the security vulnerabilities.

One small question from a non-techie:

If the omnibar (search bar) displays suggestions to autocomplete that I've never typed before, where do these suggestions come from? Because if they come from Google's servers in real time, it means that it acts as a keylogger, no matter of what options you have chosen (such as not to share statistical data).

    Can anyone answer this?

Edit: My bad, just found out that this feature can be disabled. However, IT IS enabled by default and the default search engine is Google

The TOS Was a big shock for me, How can a big company like Google make such silly/small mistakes and copy paste their other product Terms of service to some of its new products, perhaps they need to heir new TOR Writers.
After all this m bit scared to use Chrome, who know what its sending to google my information and my content is myown, I do not wish to take chances.
