    Google Chrome is great and it starts within a second where Firefox took a few seconds (maybe it's because of the addons I have, but still). It is super fast guys and I can't regret for downloading it. Yes, I know that it's not that customiseable yet, but it's Open Source anyway, so I'm sure there will be new and new addons ported from FF and others quickly. I am however ready to use it in this way too, it's not that much of a disadvantage that I can't block ads via AdBlocks (the only FF addon that I use actively).

    If only it gets downloaded on my machine - been trying for 3 hours but installation quits midway .. .not sure if its the firewall .. :(

    Nice observation though -- did you submit the bug to Google?

    anyway chrome is looking good though it crashed once on my PC. Its funny how things have started to fell into places. Expect them to push chrome heavily and the good thing that they is to open source it. I am expecting to port all the plugins of FF into chrome.

    all my sites render perfectly in it, and Ive never seen them move so quick before. a real breath of fresh air!!

    I cant imagine what the mother would think if she used the browser and someone had forgot to clear the cache. :p

    I tried it though. It renders most websites nicely with only a few errors. Nice interface and it seems fast. :)

    Ok. Abhilk. Gotcha now, but your original post was misleading as I for one assumed from the title you were referring to Chrome.

    May be good to get some reviews posted here. I'm on FireFox 3.01 and loving it. So looking for something to wow me. Can Chrome do it?

    No problem surfing sites although the recently visited sites panel when you open the browser can be a bit intruding on your privacy.

    But it is a long way from firefox without the addons although the monitor real estate is much larger with fewer toolbars.
    The ability to remember passwords and the under the hood options are nifty.

    firefox is chrome on steroids :rolleyes:

    It is early days but dont delete firefox yet.

    The future of browsing. Not neat yet. For example, I can't login to tools at DP. Always getting back to login after I click on a link. Otherwise I must say great browser.
