I don't have to. (Besides, I don't have those tools on this Windows box cause I don't use Windows) Something else must be accessing Digg since doing so would not be Chrome's function. The other traffic just might be Chrome prefetching. Did you turn this off? If not, did you run anti-virus?

Now, is it possible you accessed Digg earlier? Perhaps it is still prefetching from that access and didn't turn itself off yet. Delayed reaction and perhaps a bug. You should report it.

But, of the countless tech sites I've visited today, you are the only one saying there is such a problem so I think you need to figure out why it is only you.

You are correct but, generally, a minor tweak on occasion, the exception being any version of IE which almost always needs a few hours to fix.

day 1: million downloads, million users
day 7: most people will stick with what works...

i just downloaded this and using it right now. Its not bad. I like the clean look of it but i agree that it needs some ff addons to make it perfect. I like the main page though where it tells you your most visited sites, and other options to easily browse sites you like.
Also another nice feature i just noticed while browsing the forum is when you mouse over thread title a little popup comes up with the first post in the thread.

You had it right when you said "most people will stick with what works". IE and FF both work already, no reason to get Chrome!

This will certainly be interesting to see how it catches on.
I'm sure it will be a lot more stable than other browsers.

I have run many web browsers Including Full versions not BETA, They all seem to have few bugs until a patch was released for them including FF. I have Installed Chrome, it seems to be sofar doing good, not that it is tested (used) that extensively over a period of time it will give us the real stability and flexibility and how easily it can work with FF and other Industry browsers.
All though this is still in Beta version, It over takes any of IE beta versions that were released earlier. Which have had many bugs and vulnerabilities.
