The Google Chrome Browser Thread (do not start another one!)

Anyone else had a problem loading any webpage and found out how to fix it?

 

Well, for me at the time of download, there was an option to check or uncheck the option (before download) which I did not selected. Just clicked the download and installed no issues (not even default opt-in)

If I am not wrong, may be you have selected that check mark before download.

Trying it out at the moment, I like the speed and the uncluttered feel.

 

I must admit that GOOGLE is BEST. I like the browser so far. Very clean!

 

Looks cool. Don't want to make it my default browser yet, still I am impressed.

I like the plus button next to the tab. and also the thumbnails for recently visited.

Google Chrome (Alpha) screen shot surfaces.

 

I tried to overload the browser with as many request as I can (different types of content browsed). Felt that its going to crash but got a message "one of the plug in not responding do you want to stop it?" I clicked yes and none of the windows were closed and this is really good.

 

I am liking it, no problems at all, how do you show pagerank on this though? I figured out how to get the Home button.

 

I'm Loving it!!

I'm excited about how this might positively effect the move towards standards compliance for other browsers.

 

Not me...I'm happy with FireFox.

 

Anyone using this browser now? How safe is it? Nice to use?

Would like some initial reviews

 

Anyone else having a problem scrolling up using your mouse's scroll bar? Seemingly, I can scroll down but not up, and I don't have this problem using IE or Firefox. Grr.

 

you right anyway firefox is the best

Notice also the image dont show for all websites, well one or two anyway, checked my site and it does ok , suprised also that they allow it in there options to set companies like msn, yahoo etc as default search client :O

 

Needs a search bar in it...

Not having any of the problems anyone else is having, runs perfect.

 

Think some of you guys are being paranoid. If you don't think Microsoft is spying on your activity while using their Windows OS, then you're being naive. Google couldn't be worse.
