The Good, The Bad & The Ugly; 4 Different SEO companies

    I've been charged with finding an SEO company to help with my company's site. I know the saying (Save your money and write content content content) But it's not working and we need some drastic change as our traffic is dangerously low.

    So I'm coming to you guys to see if you have heard anything, Good, Bad or Indifferent about these 4 SEO companies;

    seocompany.com
    seo.com
    seoinc.com
    seop.com

    I have phone meetings with my manager & owner with each of these companies on Monday. I need some dirt or positives about these SEO guys. What should I be asking? I know none of them promise #1 rankings for the keywords I want, and none of them have "Special" friendships with Google. So they have that much going for them.

    So whats the scoop?

    And what sort of questions should I hit them with?

    Thanks for the help!

    A quick question, what is a "special friendship" with Google going to do for you? Google cant rank friends any higher. Google ranks on link popularity and keyword relevance, so unless a company can do that, then yea.. you get the drift...

    Check out Melbourne SEO Services if you like, its David Jenyns behind the whole thing, and his method is solid as hell. I'm actually putting his method that he uses for SEO into action right now, and its good. Its damn good.

    Oh no no I meant that, I know any SEO company that claims to have a "special Friendship" with Google is really Full of crap, & that none of those 4 companies claimed to.

    Thanks for that link to the SEO manifesto. I'll take a look at it over the weekend. In the meantime, anyone have insite on those companies?
