But priest's don't say "i'm abusing kids in the name of god" or because they believe it's their duty & a part of their religion. Simply put; "3 Teenage girls beheaded in Indonesia" is because of religious beliefs, whilst a preist abusing a child is not, it's just a perverted act.

They won't understand the difference no matter how you explain the difference - they are trying to make a moral equivalence. They don't understand that everyone sees what the priest is doing as wrong and that we all want justice served for that. They also don't understand that most of us here have nothing to do with Catholic priests to begin with, so the moral equivalence fails there too. I take it you must be some sort of expert on Islamic law to make broad generalizations that this is the standard Islamic education. Have you ever been to a mosque? Do you know the pillars of Islam off of the top of your head? Can you recite any Islamic history? I'm not a Muslim, but I have friends who are and contrary to the statements in this thread, that is not how all Muslims behave or feel.
