I just finished watching the trilogy for some 10th time or so. I wanted to see if any DPers are fascinated about the film as much as I am.

Also share your thoughts about the classic.

It's the greatest movie ever made... Period.
I have watched it over 10s times now. :)

I think this movie is where the stars are made now... it set the standards for all other Mafia movies.

I have watched all the three Godfather movies and the first two are pretty good but Godfather 3 is just terrible.

I just recently watched part I & II. I like the first one the best, but the second one provides a really good look at how Vito came around to being the Godfather.

Yes Godfather 3 wasn't that great, but you can't say it was terrible.

Loved the book and loved the movies. It is the only time I have ever gone to the movie after reading the book.

I have watched the movies in the past, but now I have a little one. They are kinda too violent to show in my house now. The Godfather is a classic.

Just brilliant. The first is a work of art. The second is great when following the vito corleone story and the third is good but gets too much hate

it's a wonderful movie and the book does it one notch better. the book includes vito's story throughout, so you get a feel for his power within the NE.

A classic. Never grows old. Anyone who hasn't seen it has missed half of his life.

Ten times watching that! Wow!. I have the Trilogy of the Godfather and watched it only once. Too much violence for one thing, and the characters are just not sympathetic. When they got killed (the brothers in particular) I felt no sympathy for them because they were rotten. When the last brother who started off as Mr. Goodie Two Shoes ended up putting a hit on his own equally rotten brother, that did it for me. These days, the Godfather Trilogy is sitting on one of my shelves gathering dust.
