The goal of Islam? (Or at least those in the Middle East)

We were ALL made in His Holy image. This much is true. But if we don't let Him in we can never truly realize this.

When you wake up tommorow morning, leave your home, there is absolutely NO guarantee you will find kindness, or goodness, or caring, or righteousness. But if you go out looking for trouble - I GUARANTEE that you will find it.

Why?

Because this world is dominated by evil. It is the prevailing truth of this world. And satan is still roaming inside it, to and fro. Narrow is the gate - He told us so. SO yes, while I realize that we are all made in His image, we are still not predominantly OF Him, and therefore self-defense is no offense to God. Just ask Michael the Arc-Angel.
