OK so I have a great startup idea. I have no programming skills. I want to find a freelance web designer...maybe on guru. How do I protect my diamond in the rough?

    Thanks

I think there is something called "intellectual property". Maybe you can register your idea or creation of the mind, and so prevent it to be used by some other.

It really depends on the idea. Sometimes there are no ways of protecting it (because it is something that anyone could do...programming is open source so creating a website about it usually comes under this no protection category).
