The frustration with CSS

Every time I make an atempt to use more css frustration sets in. This not working on that etc. Yes nice things are possible using mozilla or safari but hey below are the stats for 10.000 unique/day commercial domain.

Commercially deploying hacks and tricks to have great surfing experience for .2% or .6% of our visitors? Managing different css browser & resolution detection? You must be kidding.
I value every single visitor but the commercial truth is if each visitor makes x.xx$ where do I have money to spend on design?

    Absolutely expat!

And what do you think will happen to Google when MSN puts their search box on IE?

I give you one guess! :)

    I honestly don't care about non-MS browsers.
Why would I waste my time fiddling with HTML for some 0.01% browser. I bet that those who have bought M$ software, can afford to buy what I offer :D

Well, if AOL decides at the same time to switch I wouldn't want to own shares in G. As we all know 80% of users never switvh from their providers installed homepage.... Just had a client on the phone he still doesen't know the difference between the addressbar and the G input. He confuses the hell out of me as he insists on typing in http://www....... into G and is always surprised when he has to do one more click .... It's a scary thought to switch him to Y....

It boggles my mind how many people don't understand how to enter an address into a browser. Time and time again I've wanted to strangle a user that entered an address into a search engine and then says "I don't see the website, do you want me to click on one of these?" Arggggggghhhhhhh

Well AOL uses IE doesn't it? Even though it bought Netscape [I think as a foil] it soon reaffirmed its IE commitment so, if IE places a MSN box the answer will be exactly what you say :D
