Hey, mightyb, Google has no problems with you running their ads alongside adult-themed ads like Adultfinder? I'd be careful. Some of those pictures can get very overtly sexual.

To inform you. I got an answer from the adsense team. It's not against the guidelines to place the half-banner under the headline.

I use it with a simple layout, no border, background same as surroundings...

Check it out at Joomla Downloads!

Not much of a money maker though...

medusa, I would get rid of the .gif arrow. That's a TOS violation m'man. ;)

If the arrow was pointing up that would be debatable lol But yea, it does look like its against TOS.

Arrow pointing into the ad is definitely a TOS violation!

Thanks for alerting me! (I did not reply immediately as there was some error on the forum and I could not post.)

I sent the link to the Google Support Team. They reviewed it and suggested that I replace the image with something that does not point to the ads. I have already done that...

    >> Joomla Downloads!

I was under the impression that if there is a line between the ad and the image, it was ok. In addition, the image was a download link and the image suggested a download link too!

Anyway, thank you. Look at your cPanel for a green rep :)

I started a site (AdSensebits.com, but I have sold it since then) based on emailing Google. I can assure you that they will answer you promptly. It's your best bet if you're concerned. When in doubt, email Google ;)

It can give highest CPC ads if set properly (first most) but ctr is always bad for me.
