The First Templar is an action/adventure genre video game has being developed by Haemimont Games.The publisher of the game is Kalypso Media and is just available for Xbox 360 and windows XP +. The game is quite adjustable and there are two modes to play the game.The game can be played on single player as well as via coop mode.
The game is based on the story of the medieval time templars were great weapons by the church who they used to successfully pursue their goals. In the game, players will be controlled by 2 templar characters Celian d’Arestide, a templar of the French side and his companion, Marie d’Ibelin, a noble lady who was casted off and proclaimed heretic by the Dominican Inquisition.Both the characters has their own battle moves and fighting techniques. Both the characters uses entirely different type of weapons.Celian uses a double edged sword as a weapon together with a shield for his defense where as the Marie, uses two short swords or even daggers which boosts her speed and agility. In single player mode, the player can switch anytime between the two characters depending on their strategy. In Coop mode players can play fights with each other.
Like all other Action games the main HUD shows the character’s Health points or HP.Below the Hp bar you can notice some purple colored bubbles called Zeal in the game.Zeal bubbles gets more in number as character attacks and defenses itself.Zeal is even required to revive a fallen ally in the game. As the game progresses, the characters level up and gains skill points which players can use to select which skills and abilities their character will concentrate on in the game.
The 3D visuals of the " The First Templar " is very good. It will help the gamers to get a fairly good gaming experience.
The game is real fun to play and every one must give it a try.The best part is that it is being fairly priced by the publishers.The story line is really good and it has all ingredients the makes a good action video game.
