For example, a customer(E) click from Wesite (A), Website (B), Website (C) to a store (X) and buy something.

And Wesite (A), Website (B), Website (C) are all cj publisers,
Wesite (A) is the firest one, and Website (C) is the last one right before the purchase.

Which website will get the credit? Website (A) or Website (C)?

Make sure that if you are promoting product sales that you are catering to the buyer and not the comparison shopper. You have to hit the traffic that is in the final stage of shopping or else your just doing the next website that user visits a big favor.

It is pretty hard since so many websites give cash back for its users to shop from the link of its website.

It seems that ebates and mypoints are publishers of cj also. It is hard to compete with them to become the last website before people place their order.

I am not sure on this but do CJ state that the cookies last for e.g. 30 days.

If that is true, then the cookie from the first website that is clicked on would still be in the users browser.

Regardless, the last link sets a cookie that overwrites previous affiliate cookies - only the last click will get the credit.
